The story of a piggy bank like no other

It all started with a simple cardboard piggy bank. Easy to fold, practical to set up—but a little too ordinary to truly represent Fondation Théodora during events or charity actions in its favor.

In 2022, Sonia Gregorio, Head of Events, imagined something sturdier, more beautiful—an object that would inspire people to give. She contacted Pascal, head of the Espace Formation Emploi Jura (EFEJ) in Bassecourt. For over ten years, a precious collaboration has linked them: the EFEJ produces branded items for the Foundation while providing a professional framework for people in reintegration.

A few prototypes later, here it is: a lovely piggy bank made of steamed beechwood and orange Plexiglas, shaped like a heart with a white smile—a nod to the Foundation’s logo. The object catches the eye, sparks smiles… and questions:
