The financing of the Theodora Foundation

The Theodora Foundation constantly monitors its expenditure and pursues a policy of transparency, especially with regard to the use of donations. The Foundation applies strict accounting and administrative rules. Its activities are regularly monitored by the Canton of Vaud’s Foundation Inspectorate (ASF). Its balance sheet is audited annually by the auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Although it is not obliged to do so, the Theodora Foundation has chosen to go through the normal (or corporate) auditing process, which applies the strictest control criteria, in particular with regard to risk management and internal procedures.
