The Theodora Foundation recruits new performers every one to two years so that it can maintain and extend the programmes that it offers in hospitals and specialist care centres.

The recruitment process consists of several rounds of shortlisting. To select the future Giggle Doctors, the applications received are assessed by a qualifications committee based on set criteria. Out of the 200 to 300 applications that are generally received, around 30 will be invited to an audition, which will be used as a basis for picking about 10 trainee Giggle Doctors.

We would also recommend subscribing to our e-newsletter at www.theodora.ch/newsletter so as, not to miss the start of the selection process

As Giggle Doctor, I experience firsthand every week how our visits change the lives of the children in the hospital. For me, it’s the best job in the world.
