Moments of light-heartedness in the children’s hospice
With the «Planet of Dreams» programme, the Giggle Doctors of the Theodora Foundation bring precious moments of joy to allani, Switzerland’s first children’s hospice. Children with life-limiting illnesses and their families find the security of a home with the safety of an inpatient facility. Our artists – working alone or in pairs – bring moments of joy, lightness and magic to the children, their families and the nursing staff.
I am fascinated every time the Giggle Doctors from the Theodora Foundation come to Allani. It’s incredible how sensitively they respond to the children who are ill, making them laugh and often even getting them to join in. This time is incredibly valuable and always brings a smile to our faces too.
